Edwards nEXT7300D turbomolecular high vacuum pumps with an ISO-K 160 inlet flange have a pumping speed of 820 liters per second (l/s) and an ultimate pressure of 3.5 x 10 mbar (2.6 x 10 Torr). This nEXT730D pump has an ISO KF-40 exhaust foreline flange. Optional inlet screens (coarse or fine) are available. The nEXT730D series turbo pumps require 48 VDC input power at a maximum of 600 Watts (normal operation is typically less than 500 Watts). A permanently attached 0.6 meter long 48 volt power cable and a 0.95 meter long control cable are standard to the pump. nEXT730D turbo pumps have a compact onboard controller with RS232, RS485, & USB interfaces, five status LED's, and the possibility to control one accessory (either an air-cooling fan or solenoid vent valve). This Edwards TIC relay box acts as the control interface between the TIC controller and the mains backing pump, turbo pump flange heater band, and a backing line isolation valve. This relay box does not have any setpoint relays. The relay box can be used on a benchtop or rack mounted alongside the TIC controller. The TIC relay box connects to the the TIC Turbo Instrument Controller with the 25 pin D-Sub, logic interface cable (part number P1012534). The relay box accepts input power from100-240 VAC. The Edwards input (mains) power cable (part number P106129) is sold separately. Maximum rating for powering the backing pump is 240 VAC@10A, and 240 VAC@1A for the heater (bakeout) band. Edwards PRX10 Purge Restrictor for any nEXT Turbo Pump. PN: B58065001

This Edwards purge gas restrictor sets the flow rate of dry purge gas through the purge port on any nEXT turbo pump. An inert purge gas is used to protect the bearing and motor from corrosion. In order to use this purge restrictor, the vent port adapter (part number P106356) must be used to adapt the G 1/8" (BSPP) purge port to a KF10 NW10 flange. The PRX10 purge restrictor is a special KF10 centering ring with a filter and restrictor built in. This purge restrictor, as supplied, is adjusted to restrict the flow rate of dry nitrogen at a supply pressure of 25 sccm. The supply pressure can be increased to increase the flow rate.
