Edwards TAV5 Venting Valve, Accessory Connector, for nEXT85D, nEXT730D, nEXT930D, and nEXT1230H Turbo Pumps, 24 VDC, Normally Closed (NC), G 1/8 in. Fitting.

This Edwards TAV5 venting valve can be used on the nEXT85D, nEXT730D, nEXT930D, and nEXT1230H turbo pumps. This is a normally closed (NC) valve and operates at 24 VDC. This TAV5 solenoid valve comes with a 0.3 meter long power cable, terminated with an accessory connector for connection to the pump's accessory port, and has a G 1/8" (BSPP) fitting for connection into the pump's vent port. This valve is configured to be driven by the pump's onboard controller. This valve cannot be used on nEXT 240D, nEXT300D, or nEXT400D pumps which have a 3 pin Phoenix connector socket instead of a 4 pin accessory port.

TAV5 vent valves have an 0.5mm diameter orifice and are suitable for venting small vacuum systems of <5 liters (for larger system volumes, use the TAV6 venting valve with an orifice of 1.0mm, part number P106355).The TAV5 vent valve can replace the manual vent valve that is furnished with the turbo pump, or be fitted into any other suitable port on the vacuum system upstream of the turbomolecular pump. The valve is supplied with a 0.3 meter power cord terminated with an accessory connector, a sintered bronze inlet-filter, a riffled hose connector for attaching to a dry nitrogen supply, and a DN10NW adapter for optional direct connection to the vacuum system. This TAV5 normally closed (NC) solenoid venting valve has Edwards part number B8G200835.

This TAV5 normally closed venting valve is suitable for use on:
  • nEXT85D
  • nEXT730D
  • nEXT930D
  • nEXT1230H

  • In place of the manual vent valve on the EXT or nEXT series turbo pumps
  • Solenoid valve connected to a convenient flange on your vacuum system
