These single-use rupture disc units are designed to rapidly vent sample cylinders or other equipment to atmosphere, providing pressure relief in the case of an overpressurization. The Swagelok rupture disc is welded to a body that is then threaded into a rupture disc Tee or valve body and sealed by an FKM O-ring.
