This Pfeiffer venting valve for HiPace 80 Neo turbo pumps with a TC 80 drive unit screws into the G 1/8" (BSPP) vent port of the pump (sealing ring included). It ensures the controlled, automatic venting of the turbo pump after shutting down or in the event of a power failure, and limits an uncontrollable pressure rise rate in excess of the permissable maximum (15 hPa/s), thus preventing possible damage to the pump's rotor and magnetic bearing.

This valve has an M8 electical connector that plugs into one of the accessory ports in the TC 110-to-controller cable (part number P103335 or P1011168, sold separately). The activation (control) of this valve for the venting connection is user configured and supported by Pfeiffer controllers (OmniControl 200 or TC 80) or externally via RS485.
