The Pfeiffer Adixen AMD1 diaphragm vacuum pump has a pumping speed of 1.4 m3/hr, and an Ultimate Vaccum of <2 mbar. It can run on 100-230 VAC and has a single phase motor. The Adixen AMD1 is a compact and efficient pump, often used for backing small turbomolecular pumps in clean, high vacuum applications. It can also be used as a free standing bench top pump. A typical ultimate pressure of better than 5x10^-8 mbar can be achieved when using an AMD1 to back a 70 l/s turbomolecular pump.
