These aluminum optical breadboards are the perfect low-cost solutions when building small optical subassemblies. They are 1/4"-20 tapped on a 1" standard optical table breadboard pattern (the first row of holes are 0.5 inches from the edge). They have five counterbored holes, one on each corner inset 1" from the edge and one in the center, which are used with 1/4" socket head cap screws to provide a smooth top surface when mounting the breadboard to a table or adding pedestals as feet. The flatness is specified as 0.006" over 1 ft2.
