These replacement Viton O-rings are used on all top and bottom octagonal plates that fit our 15 x 15 x 6 in. octagonal Ideal Vacuum Cube modular chambers. They are are used to create a vacuum tight seal between the octagonal frame and plate. These o-ring seals are installed on the inner sealing groove of the plate. They are made of Viton and can be baked up to 150 degrees Celsius without permanent deformation. Chambers sealed with Viton O-rings can achieve vacuum in the 10 Torr range (high vacuum).

This Ideal Vacuum Cube hardware kit is needed when constructing a 15 x 15 x 6 octagonal chamber. The 15 x 15 x 6 octagonal Cube frame takes eight 6" x 6" and two 15" x 15" top and bottom plates to complete it (P108700). This kit includes O-rings for all the plates, including octagonal adapter plates, and the 1/4"-20 x 5/16" long stainless steel socket head cap screws (SHCS) needed to mount the plates on the frame, including screws for top and bottom adapter plates. O-rings are made of Viton and can be baked up to 150 degrees Celsius. The socket head cap screws (SHCS) are made of 18-8 stainless steel. The top and bottom 15 in. octagonal plates may be blank (P1013090), or be adapter plates that accept a 6 x 6 plate (P1013088), a 9 x 9 plate (P1013043), or a 6 x 12 plate (P1013089).

This is an ISO-F 100 gate valve adapter plate kit for the 9 x 9 Ideal Vacuum Cube. This adapter allows the compact connection of an ISO-F 100 gate valve (with tapped mounting holes) to an Ideal Vacuum Cube™, without additional plumbing or fittings. The adapter consists of two plates. One plate has our patented Taper-Seal™ O-ring seal and is mounted to the Cube frame. The other plate is mounted to the gate valve’s threaded flange. An ISO 100 centering ring with O-ring is sandwiched between the two plates which are then screwed together to make the seal. This adapter kit can be used to isolate a turbomolecular pump from the chamber. It creates the shortest possible pumping path for maximum high vacuum performance.
