The TC 4000 electronic drive unit operates larger Pfeiffer turbo pumps and their accessories. It's purpose is to drive, monitor and control the pump. The TC 400 is designed to work with Pfeiffer HiPace 300, 350, 450, 700, and 800 turbo pumps. It requires 24 or 48 VDC input power, normally supplied by a Pfeiffer OmniControl 300 or 400 controller through a power connection cable (part number P103408, sold separately). The TC 400 drive unit supplies power to the pump, has an RS485 communication port, and two M12 ports for connecting optional accessories such as a forced air-cooling kit, a solenoid vent valve, and/or a sealing gas valve. This unit replaces a damaged drive unit, or is required for pumps that do not include a drive unit. The TCU 400 electronic drive unit has Pfeiffer part number PM C01 800 A.

The Pfeiffer OmniControl 300 turbo pump controller can be bench top or rack mounted and is designed to operate Pfeiffer HiPace 700 and HiPace 800 turbo pumps that have the integrated TC400 drive unit. The OmniControl 400 unit supplies 48 VDC at a maximum of 400 Watts to the TC 400 electronic drive unit which then powers the pump. Separate power and communication interface cables (sold separately) are needed to connect the OmniControl 400 and the TC 400 drive unit. The required power cable is part number P103408. This input power supply power cord (mains cable) is used on Pfeiffer OmniControl 200, 300, 400, and DCU 110 controllers, HiScroll dry scroll roughing/backing pumps, and with other Pfeiffer products. These power cords have a standard NEMA 5-15P 115 VAC plug one one end and an IEC320 C13 female socket connector on the other. This special serial cable allows RS485 communications between a Pfeiffer HiPace turbo pump TC drive unit and a Pfeiffer OmniControl or DCU controller. This interface cable has 4-pin, M12, round screw-type connectors on both ends. This cable is 3 meters long (10 ft.) and meets or exceeds OEM specs (OEM PN: PM 061 283-T3). On TC 110 drive units, which have a 15-pin D-Sub (X3) connector, a power and communications adapter cable (part number P103335 or P1011168) is used to split out the X3 connector into a pump power cable and a short RS485 communication cable (terminated with an M12 connector). This 3 meter long RS485 cable attaches to and extends that short cable. The other end of this cable connects to the M12 round connector on an OmniControl or a DCU controller.

This Pfeiffer shielded relay box allows a backing pump to be controlled by the TC 400 or TC 1200 electronic drive unit on Pfeiffer HiPace turbo pumps. The box has a 0.45 meter long communication cable which connects directly to one of the TC drive unit's M12 accessory ports. This relay box can operate any single phase backing pump that has a starting current of up to 20A (the maximum relay contact load). This includes Pfeiffer HiScroll dry scroll and Duo series rotary vane pumps. This Pfeiffer backing pump shielded relay box has part number: PM 071 285-X. This box operates on 100-240 VAC, 50/60Hz. This Pfeiffer air cooling fan unit mounts to the side of HiPace 700 and 800 turbo pumps and provides air flow perpendicular to the pump. This air cooling unit is powered by one of the M12 accessory output ports located on the HiPace turbo pump's integrated TC 400 drive unit. The air cooling unit will always run when the pump is on. This air cooling fan unit provides additional cooling and can increase the longevity of HiPace turbo pump's that are water-cooled. This radial air cooling fan unit has Pfeiffer part number PM Z01 303 A.

This water cooling unit fits Pfeiffer HiPace 350, 450, 700, and 800 turbo pumps. It attaches to the side of the pump with two included bolts. This water cooling block has push-fit connectors for the supply and discharge hoses (8mm OD plastic hose). The hose connections may be unscrewed and removed to make use of the integrated G 1/8” threads. This water cooling kit is required when using a flange heater band with a CF flanged pump. Pfeiffer HiPace turbo pumps also benefit from water cooling when there are high gas throughputs, cyclic operations and/or high ambient temperatures.
