These Agilent Varian VHS-6 & VHS-250 diffusion pump replacement foreline baffle assemblies are OEM Agilent Varian replacement parts with part number L9172301. The foreline baffle is located in the roughing line exhaust arm of the diffusion pump. They are designed to help prevent diffusion pump oil from being transported to the roughing pump under high throughput conditions. These replacement diffusion pump heaters are designed to operate on 120 VAC producing 2200 watt of heat for a VHS-6 & VHS-250 diffusion pump. These heater elements pull 9.2 Amps at 208 VAC and have a 26 Ohms resistance across the element. These Agilent Varian VHS-6 heaters are shown as #8 in the illustration below.

These Agilent Varian VHS-6 & VHS-250 diffusion pump heater clamp assemblies are OEM Agilent Varian replacement parts with part number 86643301. These clampling plates help transfer heat from the diffusion pump heater to the oil inside the pump. these clamping plate kits include: clamping plate, cover plate, and insulator, see #11 abc below in the illustration below.

These Varian VHS-250 diffusion vacuum pump replacement thermal overload switch covers are made of aluminum. They also include the replacement mounting hardware. The thermal switch is used to protect the diffusion pump from over heating which typically occurs from lack of cooling water.
