This water cooling unit fits TURBOVAC 850i and 950i turbo pumps. It attaches to the side of the pump with two included bolts, and has G 1/8" (BSPP) connectors for the water inlet and outlet. This water cooling block has push-fit connectors for the supply and discharge hoses (8mm OD plastic hose). The hose connections may be unscrewed and removed to make use of the integrated G 1/8” threads. In order to ensure long trouble-free operation, the cooling water must be clean and not contain any oils, greases or suspended solids. This is a 115 VAC Leybold intake flange heater for the TURBOVAC 450i and 850i turbo pumps with CF 8.0 inch flange (DN 160 CF). The intake flange may be baked up to 100 °C if the turbo pump is water cooled. Operate the pump with water cooling when baking out. Do not use this intake flange heater band on an air cooled pump - damage to the pump will occur. The band heater has an attached 1m power cable terminated with a C19 power entry plug (male C19). We recommend using the Ideal Vacuum PID plug and play heater controller (part number P107361). The heater band power cable will plug directly into it. The input voltage of the controller must be the same as the heater. The P107361 controller includes a 115 VAC input power cable with a 5-20P (20A) plug.
