Swagelok SS-6-HC-1-8 Adapter 3/8 inch hose barb to 1/2 inch ID Male NPT, Stainless Steel, Vacuum Fittings Adapter
These Swagelok® brand adapters are used to make vacuum connections between hose and national pipe thread (NPT) fittings. Always use a pipe thread sealant when assembling tapered threads. Pipe thread sealants and pipe tape are sold on this web site. The hose should be made of soft flexible plastic or a type of rubber tubing. The middle and far right graphic above are for example applications.
