REBUILT Agilent Varian TwisTorr 704 FS Turbomolecular High Vacuum Pump, ISO 160 K Inlet, Water Cooled
Agilent Varian Part Number X3511-64015
This REBUILT Agilent Varian TwisTorr 704 FS Turbomolecular High Vacuum pump has an ISO 160 K inlet flange, KF 25 exhaust, and an ultimate pressure of 1x10-10 Torr, and Agilent Varian part number X3511-64015. The TwisTorr 704 turbomolecular pumps maximize performance at minimum cost, with a pumping speed of 660 l/s of nitrogen (N2). The TwisTorr 704 utilizes TwisTorr drag stages which create high compression ratios for light gases such as hydrogen and helium to deliver high throughput and high tolerance of foreline
pressure, thereby permitting the use of smaller and more economical backing pumps. We recommend a primary pump size as small as 8 CFM (e.g., Agilent Varian TriScroll 300 & IDP-15 dry scroll vacuum pumps or DS302 rotary vane vacuum pump) which can be used to operate the TwisTorr 704 FS in all its pumping profiles. The TwisTorr 704 turbo pumps with ISO and Conflat inlet flanges are bakeable, with max bakeout temps of 80°C(ISO) and 120°C(Conflat) at the inlet flange. This unit is designed for water cooling but may simultaneously run an air cooling kit which may be purchased seperately.
Agilent Varian TwisTorr 704 turbomolecular high-vacuum pumps are integrated into many analytical Instrumentation applications including Electron Microscopy (SEM, TEM), Focused Ion-beam Systems (FIB) and Surface Analysis Modern focused-beam systems such as SEM’s, TEM’s and FIB’s utilize columns that project electrons or ions onto microscopic samples for detailed analysis. End users analyze all types of substances from organic compounds to semiconductor wafers. In the Semiconductor industry, in particular, they require more sensitivity for better sample resolution. Another key requirement is high sample throughput in order to lower the cost of ownership of these instruments. Agilent Varian TwisTorr 704 turbomolecular high-vacuum pumps are also a key component in modern focused-beam systems because they offer fast, oil-free air evacuation of large sample chambers (oil-free operation is a key requirement of many modern analysis applications such as semiconductor manufacturing).
