This Pfeiffer HiPace 1200 turbo pump package deal with DN200 ISO-F 200 inlet flange includes a Pfeiffer HiScroll 18 dry scroll roughing pump. The HiPace 1200 has a pumping speed of 1300 liters per second (l/s), an ultimate pressure of 7.5 x 10
-8 Torr, and has a water cooling unit pre-installed. The pump has an integrated bottom-mounted TC 1200 electronic pump drive unit. This package includes an OmniControl 001 display control unit with large LED display which is powered by the pump through an RS485 communications cable, also included. To protect the pump from debris, a splinter guard with fine mesh (0.8 mm) screen is also part of this package. This turbo pump package deal includes a roughing pump, but does not include roughing lines, vacuum chamber, pressure measurement gauges, or valves. Some upgrades might include: a backing pump relay box, solenoid venting, or sealing gas purge valves. All these items are available and sold separately by Ideal Vacuum.
About the HiPace 1200 turbo pump with ISO-F 200 flange
Pfeiffer HiPace 1200 turbomolecular high-vacuum pumps with an ISO-F 200 inlet flange and KF-40 outlet flange have a pumping speed of 1300 liters per second (l/s) and an ultimate pressure of 7.5 x 10
-8 Torr.The pump may be mounted from vertical (high-vacuum flange on top) to 90° (horizontal). Input power of 100 - 120/200 - 240 VAC 50/60 at a maximum of 1350 Watts is supplied directly to the pump with the included NEMA 5-15P to Hastings HAN 3 input power cable. This Pfeiffer HiPace 1200 pump comes with an integrated TC 1200 drive unit side-mounted to the pump. The TC 1200 has an RS485 (M12) communication and power port, a D-sub connector for remote operation, and two M12 accessory ports for additional equipment. This HiPace 1200 turbo pump with ISO-F 200 inlet and TC 1200 drive unit comes standard with water cooling and has Pfeiffer part number PM P06 001.
About the HiScroll 18 dry scroll roughing pump
This Pfeiffer HiScroll 18 dry scroll roughing/backing pump has a pumping speed of 10.7 cfm (18.1 m
3/hr), and an ultimate vacuum of 5.25 x 10
-3 Torr (7 x 10
-3 mbar). It has KF-40 (NW40) inlet and outlet ports. Input of 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single phase power is required and and the pump has a standard C14 input power connector. The HiScroll 18 pump draws 10A@120VAC (6A@240 VAC) and is extremely quiet at 47 dB(A). This HiScroll pump has internal motor protection and an integrated two-stage gas ballast which allows for pumping of condensable vapours including water, solvents, dilute acids and bases. Maximum dry air or inert gas ballast pressure is 21.7 psi (1500 hPa).
About the OmniControl 001 drive control unit
The Pfeiffer OmniControl 001 turbo pump controller can be bench top or rack mounted and is designed to operate Pfeiffer HiPace 1200 turbo pumps that have the integrated TC 1200 drive unit. The OmniControl 001 drive unit is powered by the pump and does not have a built in power supply. The OmniControl 001 can control all the main parameters of the HiPace 1200 turbo pump via an included 3 meter long RS485 interface cable. Since it does not have its own power supply, the OmniControl 001 is very compact and has Pfeiffer part number PE D40 100 0.
About the water cooling unit
Water cooling is standard on HiPace 1200 turbo pumps. The water cooling unit has push-fit connectors for the supply and discharge hoses (10mm OD plastic hose). The hose connections may be unscrewed and removed to make use of the integrated G 1/4” threads.
