NEOVAC SY is a fractionally distilled synthetic vacuum diffusion pump oil derived from carefully refined alkyl-diphenyl-ether that performs as well as DC-704. Thermal stabilty and high resistance to oxidation, means extremely low vapor pressure and long operational life. Neovac SY is a vacuum diffusion pump fluid which operates efficiently, economically and safely to produce untrapped, ultra-high vacuums in the 10-8 torr range. Diffusion pumps are the most economical and reliable means of reaching ultra high vacuum pressures and Neovac SY has proven to be the best pump fluid available for this type of equipment.
Extremely low vapor pressure, high chemical resistance, and low backstreaming characteristics means low contamination and longer operation. Neovac SY will not produce inorganic deposits which can cause electrostatic charge buildup on electrodes of sensitive instruments making it ideal for use in many UHV applications including laboratory, analytical and research operation, vacuum production, thin films, space simulation chambers, and optical coatings.
