Inlet VisiTrap For Acidic Applications with Housing and Blue Sump for 9.5 inch Filter Elements

The VISITRAP® protects your vacuum pump from being exposed directly to particles, liquids, or solutions that could travel down the vacuum line. The VISITRAP® acts as a catch-pot for trapped materials. While not under vacuum the VISITRAP® can be opened and cleaned as needed. The VISITRAP® will also help prevent back-streaming and vacuum pump oil from contaminating your vacuum system. Sometimes your vacuum pump needs protection from the materials you’re pumping, and sometimes your vacuum system needs protection from the pump. The VISITRAP® trap takes care of both. The sump contains an element insert that traps foreign particles and vapors keeping them from getting where they shouldn’t be. It also traps particles and oil vapors and reduces oil backstreaming. (Element filters do not come with this trap but are available on this website) This particular Blue trap is made of material that is best for more corrosive acidic applications .

The Intake and Exhuast Ports on the VisiTrap are 3/4 inch pipe thread and require an NPT to KF Adapter fitting. Depending on the size of the inlet flange on you vacuum pump, a KF40 to 3/4 inch NPT Adapter (PN P102738) or a KF25 to 3/4 inch Adapter (PN P102739) is needed for installation. All adapters, other hardware and interchangeable Insert elements for this trap are available on this website. Insert Elements Include, Copper Gauze, Stainless Steel, Molecular Sieve, SodaSorb, Activated Charcoal, Activated Alumina, PolyPro 2, PolyPro 5, PolyPro 20.
