This Edwards TAV5 venting valve can be used on the nEXT85D, nEXT730D, nEXT930D, and nEXT1230H turbo pumps. This is a normally open (NO) valve and operates at 24 VDC. This TAV5 solenoid valve comes with a 0.3 meter long power cable, terminated with an accessory connector for connection to the pump's accessory port, and has a G 1/8" (BSPP) fitting for connection into the pump's vent port. This valve is configured to be driven by the pump's onboard controller. This normally open valve can be used as a power failure venting valve. When a power failure occurs, this valve closes and vents the pump and the forevacuum line and thus keeps oil vapor from diffusing back from the forevacuum line. For use on nEXT 240D, nEXT300D, or nEXT400D pumps which have a 3 pin Phoenix connector socket instead of a 4 pin accessory port, use TAV5 valve part number P105358.

This Edwards TAV6 venting valve can be installed in any nEXT85D, 240D, 300D, 400D, 730D, 930D, or 1230H series turbo pump. This valve operates at 24 VDC, and comes with a 3 meter long power cable with unterminated (bare wire) end, and has a BSP 1/8" fitting for connection into the pump's vent port. This valve can be powered by the pump's accessory port (nEXT85D, nEXT730D, nEXT930D, or nEXT1230H) or the 3 pin Phoenix connector socket on nEXT240D, nEXT300D, or nEXT400D pumps (the mating phoenix plug is supplied with the pump). This valve can also be directly wired to a TIC Controller, or a separate 24 VDC power supply. This Edwards vent or purge port adapter is used to convert the G 1/8 inch (BSPP) female vent or purge port on any nEXT turbo pump to a KF10 NW10 flange. An alternative vent valve to the TAV5 or TAV6 valve, or a vent or purge pipeline may then be fitted to this flange. This vent port adapter is supplied with a flow restrictor (when used on the vent port), and an O-ring to seal the adapter to the pump. When used in the purge port, use the PRX10 purge restrictor (part number P1012056) to limit the purge gas flow rate. This adapter has Edwards part number B58066011.
