These 1/4-28 x 1-1/4 inch silver-plated 12-Point Head have a diameter of 1/4 inch, with 28 threads per inch, and are 1.25 inch long. The silver plating is used as a dry anti seize, which helps protect against common seizing issues that can occur between the stainless steel hardware and conflat vacuum flange threads. They are non-magnetic being made of chemical and corrosion resistant 304 stainless steel. Socket head cap screws have a smaller head diameter than normal screws. They are tightened using an Allen wrench (hex key) which is inserted into the recessed hex-drive socket located in the screw head. The screw length is measured from under the head (length of shaft only) and are sold as 1 each.
