The T-Station 85 is Edwards new entry level turbopumping system. It combines the Edwards nEXT85D turbomolecular pump, with a simple controller and the E2M1.5 rotary vane roughing pump with a ISO63 LF63 inlet. The T-Station 85 is supplied fully assembled and ready to go for quick and easy operation.
T-Station 85 is a low cost, compact
turbomolecular pumping station that seamlessly
combines the nEXT85D turbomolecular pump
with a dry diaphragm
backing pump, and a simple controller, providing
pumping speeds of 47 to 84 ls-1 (depending on inlet).
The T-Station 85 comes with an integrated Turbo
and Active Gauge controller which enables single
button start/stop of the system. This is combined
with the ability to control one of our active
gauges*, vent valve* control and delayed start of the
turbomolecular pump to either time or pressure
if a gauge is fitted. This making the T-Station 85 ideal
for general laboratory needs.
*Active Gauges and TAV5 vent valve are optional accessories that are sold separately.
GENERAL LAB AND R&D APPLICATIONS INCLUDING:
High Energy Physics and Research Centers
The T-Station can be used in any lab where there is a need to create high vacuum quickly and easily
The addition of the single active gauge controller makes it possible to monitor the process
Spectroscopy
The T-Station is an ideal platform for people building their own mass spectrometers or leak detectors providing a ready made high vacuum system
Many others
Maintaining individual chambers at the correct vacuum level during system maintenance or repair
