These 4-way cross vacuum fittings have 4 fixed 1.5 inch ASA (ASA) flanges and NO O-ring groove. All 4 flanges are smooth. They are made of 304 Stainless Steel. The ASA ANSI flange specification was originally created for use with steam pipes but have now been adapted to vacuum. Diffusion pumps, roots blowers, cryopumps and large rotary piston pumps are some examples of the ASA flange uses. Using O-Rings with Viton, Buna or Silicone they are capable of achieving pressures as low as 1x10-8 Torr.
