These Edwards Stokes expansion plug are designed to fit into the water cooling circuit on the Stokes 412H-11 rotary piston vacuum pumps. These expansion plugs can help prevent block damage if the pump is ever exposed to cold temperatures where the cooling fluid freezes. When these pumps age the expansion plugs can start to leak and it is a good idea to replace them during rebuild service. These expansion plug parts are not included in a standard rebuild kit.
