These rebuild kits are used during maintenance on Agilent IDP-15 dry scroll vacuum pumps. The Agilent IDP-15 pumps will provide many years of trouble-free service if the maintenance procedures and intervals are observed. Cleaning and tip seal replacement are recommended when pump base pressure has risen to an unacceptably high level for your application. If your pump exhibits humming or grinding noises from the bearings, a major overhaul should be done by Agilent personnel or an authorized rebuild center. All that is needed is simple tools, flat head screw driver, 4 and 5 mm Allen wrenches, isopropyl alcohol, lint-free wipes, and this tip seal kit part number X3815-67000.
