This custom length, Ideal Vacuum exclusive, full nipple vacuum fitting is 7" long and has one rotatable and one fixed 2-3/4 inch conflat (CF) flange. Both flanges have through holes (holes are not threaded). This fitting is used for ultra-high vacuum applications and is just long enough to completely encase the Ideal Vacuum AnalyzaVac residual gas analyzer (RGA) probe, keeping it safe from short circuiting and helping protect it from contaminant deposition that occurs when the probe protrudes into the vacuum chamber. This nipple will also work on other manufacturer's RGAs.

These fittings use a copper gasket and knife-edge flanges to achieve the high vacuum seal and can operate down to 10^-13 torr (10^-11 Pa) and can be heated to 450 °C for bake-out. North American flange sizes are given by flange outer diameter in inches: 1-1/3 ("mini conflat"), 2¾, 4½, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13¼, 14 and 16½.
