This 12 x 12 Cube coupling kit allows two Cube frames to be tightly joined face-to-face on their 12 x 12 faces without any intermediate plumbing or fittings.
Same sized Cube faces can be coupled. For example, a 12 x 12 x 12 Cube frame can be directly coupled to a 12 x 12 x 12 frame or a 6 x 12 x 12 frame, as long as they are coupled on the 12 x 12 side.
The coupling kit consists of a 6061-T6 aluminum Cube frame coupler with two O-rings, and several 304L stainless steel barrel type, coupling draw bolts. The frame coupler is sandwiched between the two Cube frames and acts just like a flange centering ring. The coupler makes the seal between the two Cube frames and uses the patented Ideal Vacuum Taper-Seal design. The draw bolts rigidly clamp the two Cube frames together.
The number of chamber configurations possible with Cube coupling kits is virtually limitless. Long, odd-shaped, and multi-Cube chambers are easy to construct with this accessory.
