Nitrous Oxide (NO) Low-Pressure Quartz Cell, Cross-Shaped, For Non-Linear Laser Spectroscopy, Vacuum Ultraviolet (VUV) Harmonic Generation, 20 x 100mm

These cross-shaped low-pressure gas cells contain Nitrous Oxide (NO) in balance of Nitrogen and are often used for nonlinear laser spectroscopy of nitric oxide for the study and production of vacuum ultraviolet VUV harmonic generation. The non-linear process arises from the non-zero elements of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility (X(3)) and is a four-wave sum mixing into the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV).

These low-pressure Nitrous Oxide (NO) gas cells can also be used as a wavelength reference which provide precice defined absorbtion spectrums. These cells are commonly used in spectroscopic applications such as tunable diode laser calibration, stabilization of laser frequencies, and calibration of wavelength meters.

The specifications of this non-linear low-pressure gas cell medium are: Quartz Cross-Shaped Low-Pressure Gas Cell, Size: 20 x 100 mm, Window Type: wedged at 2 degrees, Window Angle: 11 degrees, Total Pressure: 100 Torr, Fill Material: 2% Nitrous Oxide (NO) and balance with nitrogen, Viewports: 20x20mm, flame sealed fill stem on the top, 11 degrees window angle, cell length is the optical path through the middle of the cell, UV transmission curve for the quartz used must have ~80% or higher transmission down to 220 nm.
